How did Tala know?
I do my best to explain my process to my human clients. A visual description of what happens during my sessions is easy, but explaining how each experience is a challenge. When animals energetically open doors for me, I never know what truly to expect. This is their realm and my time with them is for them. I do my best to relay any questions from their humans, but the session really is and will be however they want it to be. Sometimes, they speak a lot. Other times, I wait in silence until I catch that spark in their eye, that soul intelligence every living being has, and we begin another strange journey of stories.
When a life is lived to its fullest and senior years, there are so many stories and never enough time. Tala is fourteen in human years and very wise. I extended the session with her because our session was interspersed with sharp pain, like pins and needles. She told me the left side of her body feels that way when she moves now. "I am old. Tell the twins that they do not have to be brave for me. I always read them, so I always know."
Tala knows her life is blessed. She also shared that blessed energy with me during our session. As she kept sharing some memories, she showed me her meeting horses. I told her how I love horses. She looked at me, with those wise eyes, gleaming with curiosity. I thought then, was it serendipity that they named you after those starry eyes? Tala asked me, "If you could your horse, what would you name them?" "In every lifetime, Tala, I would call them Amihan."
I have repeatedly dreamt of a giant chestnut horse, bigger than the world, who perched like a loafing cat. I know in my heart, Tala was talking about my dreaming. It was her little way of telling me, she sees me and what I do, too.
Thank you, Tala.
