Coco's relief

Coco looks at her human family with happiness, colors, and a deep sense of relief. Relief is not a common feeling that animals share with me. I even asked Coco if she was a rescue, in the sense that animal welfare volunteers understand, and she said "uhm no 🥰" and she honestly felt that way-- not hardened by dangers of the streets and cruel humans.

Coco knows the good life, a sweet life, a soft life. Happy birthday, Coco. Thank you. 🥰

A family asked me to talk to their dog last night. I found the session overflowing with tenderness, and nothing cloying at all. There really is something beautiful when humans and animals see each other for their entirety, for who they truly are, and only want to give more to improve and better each others' lives.  I am grateful to be a witness to their journey. 🙏
