Evidence of the frequency of being loved
"What is this sound, Leeloo?"
I wanted to ask Leeloo this question immediately. A deep, steady rhythm. A continuous and thick electric hum, like the din of old refrigerators and noisy air conditioners. The noise was everywhere and I wanted to know where it was coming from. I looked at Leeloo and knew it was not coming from her body.
When we started the session, Leeloo was already tired. Breathing is laced with a stinging sensation and she let me see how her torso was energetically glowing like embers. Sometimes, the heat would be unbearable. Sometimes, they look like tiny fireflies. Either way, the fire never went away. She didn't understand this. I couldn't explain to her why physical bodies have to be imperfect and why this fire was growing and never leaving. I couldn't fully explain why leaving this physical body must feel painful and why she will remain alive after transitioning.
I hesistated from asking Leeloo too many questions. She did not enjoy it. I looked around the room she showed me and still could not find the source of that constant humming.
Despite the effort in breathing, Leeloo still yearned. Hers was a yearning for her good life, the good times... for light to remain streaming through the home's windows and her loved ones laying beside her sharing love and energy with the fervor of prayers. That was when I understood. The hum is the sound of energy resonating between bodies. The same sound that unlocks doors in dreams. The sound of prayers, love, and memories shared. The sound of life and of grief. The sound that proves Leeloo is alive and deeply loved. The sound that she loves back, just as deeply.
Thank you, Leeloo. May you always feel how deeply loved you are. Thank you for being who you are. You will never be alone. ๐
