Lily's box of fears
Lily was shy when we started the session. I think I even messaged her humans about this and that I might extend my time with her. It was a staring game of sorts at the beginning but I knew and felt a thought dancing inside her mind. "Maybe I will let this one see" was what I heard and then she asked me to follow her.
In the space where I communicate with animals, the environment and creativity is dependent on our animal friends. No space is the same and I am allowed to witness only what they choose to share. I am NOT in the same physical room as they are in.
When I followed Lily, expecting to see something, I saw nothing at first. But her eyes adjusted and so did mine, and we were looking at a ceiling of concrete and darkness. We were inside a concrete box. A damp and dusty feeling would fill Lily's nose. She could hear muffled noises from a distance. I asked her why she brought me to this claustrophobic scene. "This place is not fun, Lily. Are you scared, Lily?" Her answer was no bark but more and clearer visions.
Lily was remembering. The concrete box was a memory, wrapped neatly inside her sweet little heart. And, in the center of that memory was a question: where is he who put me here and fed me pansit and rice?
"Why look for him, Lily?"
"He did not hurt me. I know."
The humans who asked me to talk to Lily were her adopters. Lily was kept hidden in a basement by a caring guard, for her safety from management and the pound. He was doing his best to find her a home. ♥
Lily's heart is healing. She is happy. Her life now is full of colorful magic. Lily lives a life she so deserves, one that I am happy to witness.
Thank you, Lily. ♥
