Honestly, whenever someone hears I am an animal communicator, I have the feeling that people assume all animals are friendly towards me. If you're new here, I am here to reiterate that no, not all of them are friendly with me. In fact, birds/fowl/feathered heathen descendants of dinosaurs, generally side eye me. Growing up, I have had my fair share of close bird encounters from lovebirds, pigeons--they are the cutest, tbh, cockatoos, chickens, and kites! I have been chased on a pebbled beach by a mother hen because she incorrectly thought I was going catch her chicks (yes, my trauma from that chicken chase is very cottage-horror core!) That elephant tied up in a Bangkok zoo was filled with anger and pity towards me. The community cats I interact with do not all love me. (I have a handsome father and son duo named Toast and Kevin who hate my guts and love my food ONLY!)

So when I begin my sessions, each and every session, I do my best to come from a place of genuinely good intentions. This is one of the ways I talk about when I say I never force anything on our animal friends. And if we are still on the topic of sassy cats, Angel's name is on my list. How she lives up to her name! 🤪

It wasn't like she hated me. I just was tasked to ask her about her thoughts on life changes, as her human navigates major changes in their career arrangements. I was effectively breaking some very big ideas to Angel, none of which she welcomed very warmly. Our session began with her "hearing me" and then with her proclaiming "Oh, noisy. 😒"

"The human girl asked YOU to talk to ME because?"

"Tell the human girl I am abundant what is she talking about. Are we poor? She must be poor? She is finding a J O B? No way."

"I have water receptacles everywhere in my kingdom! I am NEVER thirsty!"

"Ann, kontrabida ka sa buhay ko! I was trying to sleep. Among other things 😒"

"I am CERTAINLY a very nice girl! That's very obvious! 🙄🤨"

I am taking a little vacation in the Visayas this month. I'm very excited to rest! 🥰
